Melbourne's Hawthorn Football Club is honouring the "Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels" at the Kokoda Game on 30th May 2010. A feature of the game will be the playing of Graham's unreleased song "Angels Without Halos" honouring the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels. Graham was honoured to allow the club to play the song whilst official guests are arriving at the Club. Unfortunately as the song was not released arrangements were not able to be finalised for Graham to be at the games this year to sing the song live. It is a powerful song and Graham has painted a picture as live as if it was a video of the actual event in 1942.
Hawthorn has become supporters of the Kokoda Track Foundation and makes it their yearly training event to take the players to the Kokoda Track to actually walk the Track. Graham is discussing with the president of the Kokoda Track Foundation, Genevieve Nelson on donating some of the proceeds from the sale of the CD towards the Foundation.
Shadows Across The Moon CD - Graham Rodger Graham is about to release his latest Album "Shadows Across The Moon" which will contain the song honouring the "Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels" called "ANGELS WITHOUT HALOS".
Club management has indicated they wish Graham to sing the song live at the next year's Kokoda Game. Jeff Kennett, Hawthorn Football Club president, was delighted with the song to be used as part of their ongoing commitment to raise money and awareness for support of the education and medical funds to assist the Kokoda Track Families.
